yum.conf disable SSL verification and keep cache of files

Problem

User wants to disable SSL Verification during yum installation. this is needed in various cases for example if you are using company proxy with self signed certificate

Solution

Use the following settings in the file/etc/yum.conf

cachedir=/var/cache/yum/$basearch/$releasever

obsoletes=1
gpgcheck=1
