[root@HP-GP-AMS-01 yum.repos.d]# yum install telnet
Loaded plugins: langpacks, product-id, search-disabled-repos [Errno 14] HTTPS Error 404 - Not Found

Trying other mirror.

One of the configured repositories failed (CentOS-$releasever - Updates),
and yum doesn't have enough cached data to continue. At this point the only
safe thing yum can do is fail. There are a few ways to work "fix" this:

failure: repodata/repomd.xml from updates: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.$releasever/updates/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTPS Error 404 - Not Found

One or more repos are inaccessible

for example redhat repository

delete the file of the repo  from /etc/yum.repos.d/redhat.repo

also disable subscription manager

vi /etc/yum/pluginconf.d/subscription-manager.conf

and change to

also you can skip non working repositories

add the following settings to yum.conf
