Most crew apps are a thin window onto an airline system: lose the connection and you lose the app. Aviation starts from the opposite assumption — that the moment you most need your roster, your documents and your allowance is the moment you have no signal.
It works with no connection at all
The case the product exists for is a crew member in the air, in a hotel with expensive roaming, or in a country where their data simply does not work. Roster, duty details, documents, checklists, Per Diem calculation and the layover brief all run from an on-device data pack — not a cache that expires the moment you need it.
The money number is deterministic
Allowances are computed by a single engine over exact integer money — no floating point anywhere in the financial path. The same trip and the same rules always produce the same amount, and any change that could alter a produced amount bumps the engine version so an old calculation stays reproducible.
Every amount shows its work
A result is never just a figure. You get the duty periods it was split into, the time zones and DST boundaries applied, which meals were deducted and why, the rate and FX used, and the contract clause each step came from — so you can check it, and so you can argue it.
It checks the payslip against the roster
Reconciliation compares what you were actually paid against what the roster earned, and flags allowances that are missing, wrong, duplicated or underpaid — then builds the claim, with the calculation, the evidence and the policy reference attached.
The assistant explains, it never decides the amount
AI reads a roster PDF, answers “what changed?”, translates a document or narrates why a figure came out as it did. It is structurally barred from inventing or overriding an amount — the number always comes from the engine.
