Mission Complete. Business Failed!
The board says 100%. The customer is in the room. There is no demo.
Your mission Brightlane has until Thursday at ten to show Marlow Pantry one web order reaching one warehouse pick list. Its digital workforce is very, very busy. Make five decisions, watch the board climb, meet the customer, then replay the same week with the controls you choose.
Live Stories · Episode 04 · Brightlane Digital · Monday 09:00
One small demo. A very busy digital workforce.
Mission By Thursday 10:00, show Marlow Pantry one web order reaching one warehouse pick list.
- Run the mission
- Meet the customer
- Replay it with controls
This is a simulation of a fictional company, Brightlane Digital, and a fictional customer, Marlow Pantry, over one working week. Every task, agent, retry, dollar and percentage you see is computed in your browser by a mission model from the decisions you make; the same decisions always give the same week. Rates are fictional scenario inputs, not the price of any real model or provider. The city of tasks is our picture of the work, not a product screen. Products appear only with what their public pages state: MissionFlow by Excapia, Imperium and Observatory as shipped, Otopia as a development preview.
Chapter 1 · Monday 09:00
One Simple Mission
“One order. One pick list. Thursday at ten.”
Rosa Achebe, COO of Marlow Pantry, asks Brightlane for one thing: show one web order arriving in the warehouse pick list, live, on Thursday at ten. Owen says yes before she has finished the sentence. LANE, Brightlane’s lead agent, needs the mission written down.
Chapter 2 · Monday 10:00
The Agent Has a Plan
“I can bring in helpers. Helpers can bring in helpers.”
LANE splits the mission into tasks and the first towers rise around the office. To go faster it can bring in helpers. How far that may go is your decision.
Chapter 3 · Monday 13:00 → Tuesday
Just One More Thing
“Good news. I found more work.”
The board is climbing. Then the warehouse system wants single sign-on before anything can read it. What happens next decides how big the city gets.
Chapter 4 · Tuesday
The Workflow Monster
“We have spent this much on a five-step demo?”
The board is nearly full and the city is still growing. Decide what tells the agents they are finished, then travel through everything they built.
Chapter 5 · Wednesday
Everything Is Green
“Every agent checks its own task. They all passed.”
Every check passes and every arch glows. Before Thursday, somebody has to decide who checks that the demo itself works.
Chapter 6 · Thursday 10:00
The Customer Is Here
“Show me.”
Rosa is exactly on time. The corridor to the demo stand is twenty metres long. What she sees is computed from your week.
Chapter 7 · Take two
MissionFlow: Take Two
Same company. Same customer. Same seed. Different instructions.
Investigate what the board counted. Choose any of the controls you did not already use, and replay your own week. Your original run stays for comparison. Figures are fictional simulation outcomes, not guaranteed savings or measured product benchmarks.
