A fictional emergency-response command runs a night exercise. Every signal, link and figure comes from a seeded simulation.

A perimeter camera at the Sable Point relay records movement. Then Halden Relief Command, hour nine of the exercise, and four alerts in four minutes.

“Are these one problem, or four?”
Each team reports what it sees on its own screen. The commander has to decide how to look at them.
Chapter 3
Enter the Observatory
“The whole command as one living picture.”
A continuous flight through the operational picture: sites, infrastructure, network, Kubernetes, services, the AI layer, AFPM traces, security, and the mission. A cinematic representation, not a product screen.

The War Room: what is confirmed, what is correlated, what is only inferred, and what is still unknown.
